Those who have not seen a morning in the country, don’t know what a good morning is.

Meet Gayle

I was raised training the family dogs from childhood on our ranch on Central California.  When I was growing up there were no dog projects in 4-H, so for six years I was involved with Horsemanship, my other passion.  While riding on the ranch I was always escorted by the family ranch dogs.

As an adult, I was finally able to have my own dogs.  After my husband Larry, now of almost fifty years, and I were married, I began showing and training  English Springer Spaniels.  I eventually added Great Danes for awhile.  I met my first Wirehaired Vizsla in 1986, an import from Hungary.  It was an instant attraction.  I knew I must find one.  However, a growing family owned and operated construction business, along with three young children put my search on hold.

2010 finally brought me my “Heart Dog” to this day.  I have owned WHVs now for over a decade, showing in conformation and performance sports.  Several years ago we began field training our adult dogs.  I feel strongly that a purebred dog deserves to be exposed and allowed to experience their breed purpose, and so much more when possible.  We have enjoyed being in the fields as much as the dogs and feel so fulfilled watching them work.
